| INTERMEZZO DAY SPA |
| Relaxing at La Cabana now means more than lounging by our three pools or on magnificent Eagle Beach. Exotic body treatments, soothing massages, pampering manicures and pedicures, and delightful facials are yours to enjoy at the brand new Intermezzo Day Spa, which opened its doors at La Cabana this spring. The Intermezzo Day Spa is located on the second and third floors of the building by the tennis courts (the pro shop is on the first level). Decorated in pale blue, lilac and beige tones, the spa facility features three massage/treatment rooms; one facial room; and a non-body treatment area for manicures and pedicures (all on the second floor). During the summer, the third floor of the spa will be completed with two thai massage cabanas (for massages with clothes on); an outdoor deck for yoga and tai chi; two small pools (one with minerals and one with algae both for various body treatments); and two outdoor areas for relaxing. Of particular note is that the massage rooms are more spacious than the average facility (at about 150 square feet per room), plus they feature softer and wider massage beds that are made locally. Specific treatments available include (but are not limited to) aromatherapy, deep tissue, acu-pressure and reflexology massages; standard, piccolo and di lusso facials (all facials include eye area and lips therapy); aromatherapy, honey and algae body wraps; pumice, fruity and marine salt body scrubs; spa manicures and pedicures; hydrotherapy treatments; and more. Special packages are also available for the real royal treatment! Arent you relaxed just from reading about the services that await you at the spa? Personal service is very much a part of the Intermezzo Day Spa experience. All therapists have been certified and trained with the Intermezzo Day Spa signature of style and service. The Intermezzo Day Spa is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am 7 pm, and Sunday, 10 am 6 pm. The Intermezzo Day Spa brand is located in other venues around Aruba including the Mill, Holiday Inn and Allegro Resort. Its popularity led La Cabana to negotiate with the company. |
